Short, six word, stories on the life of a scientist

If you thought Twitter challenges you enough with its character limit, how about this NextGen VOICES survey by Science. In April 2016, the magazine had invited submissions from young researchers to create a story about the life of a scientist using exactly six words.

From about 400 responses that the magazine received, a handful of entries identified as the most interesting were selected to be printed in the July 1, 2016 issue of the magazine. One of them among these was that of Rohan Sharma, from Suhita Nadkarni’s lab at IISER Pune. Visit this page to read Rohan’s and others’ stories many of which are sure to prompt a nod or a chuckle.

The NextGen VOICES feature by the Science magazine aims to engage the global scientific community, especially young researchers, in a conversation on central issues surrounding the practice of science.
